Fay Tran has written a super little book which is for both children and adults.

'Carry and the Little White Cloud - How Clarry learned to read'

It is so simple and cleverly written - making crystal clear the effects on children who have been started on their reading journey with flawed teaching methods.

I think it should be on the reading lists of teacher-training universities.

See here for the full review via the International Foundation for Effective Reading Instruction - and also how this links in with the review of the BBC documentary 'B is for Book'!
