Missing link for PowerPoints for parents' information events

We've been alerted to the absence of a link to the free PowerPoint presentations for parents' information events. These presentations are part of our provision for informing parents - with permission for any adaptations schools may wish to make for their individual phonics and reading provision as long as this is acknowledged, see here:

http://www.phonicsinternational.com/parents.htm

The PowerPoints cover both the use of the Phonics International programme and the Oxford Reading Tree Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters programme.

Many primary schools start off with the ORT Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters in Reception and Year One and then continue with the use of Phonics International right through primary (as PI provides a continuous spelling programme - building up knowledge of vocabulary and spelling word banks).

[Note that Phonics International is designed to be used from Reception - four+ year olds - too!]

This 'missing link' on the PI index page is a consequence of re-building a new website for Phonics International, and we plan to re-instate the link to the free PowerPoint presentations for parents' information events as per the previous site.

I'm pleased to say that we have now re-instated the link for the PowerPoint presentation for parents' information events.

There is a PowerPoint for the Phonics International programme and one for the Oxford Reading Tree Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters programme.

Schools can modify these PowerPoints according to their requirements as long as they acknowledge that they have been modified.
