In England, the Department for Education has opened up another round of publishers applying for 'DfE validation' for full 'Systematic Synthetic Phonics' programmes.

The current publisher of 'No Nonsense Phonics Skills', Raintree, in collaboration with Phonics International Ltd, submitted 'No Nonsense Phonics' as a fully programme in its own right.

Consequently, both 'No Nonsense Phonics' and 'Phonics International' are now 'DfE validated'.

We re-submitted the Phonics International programme in this new window of opportunity - July 2021.

Oxford University Press intend to re-submit the 'Floppy's Phonics' programme, of which I am consultant and co-author, at the end of October 2021 for re-validation. OUP is also in the throes of publishing further hard copy Flash Cards for level 5 of Floppy's Phonics - and a new series of incremental reading books to use alongside the Floppy's Phonics programme.

Meanwhile, Phonics International Ltd has published a range of hard copy resources for use with the 'No Nonsense Phonics' programme and/or 'Phonics International' for the first six Units.

These include a new series of incremental, decodable Phonics Reading Books! We are publishing these as they are completed, see here for information about the range of optional hard copy resources:
