We've just uploaded my Two Stage Teaching Model on the PI Free Resources page. It can be found in the blue box entitled IMPORTANT.
This is useful for understanding the elements of discrete phonics teaching within the wider curriculum and the development from the basic code stage to the complex code stage of the teaching and learning.
This model is entirely compatible with the Simple View of Reading Model which is also available to download on the Free Resources page.
Please note that there are three pages to the resource above - the third page consists of an explanation of synthetic phonics teaching within the wider curriculum.
