During my talks and training events, I always mention the need to teach children about different 'fonts' and how these are the same code as the plain fonts we tend to use for phonics programmes and early reading books.
I provide a set of free Flash Cards with various suggestions for use, and for further activities related to different fonts, at the end of the pdf.
I've been promising this set of Flash Cards to people for some time.
